Greetings!

On behalf of the Carbondale Alumnae Chapter (CAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated; I would like to welcome you to our website. CAC was chartered in 1978 by twelve dynamic women. These women understood the importance of public service and sought to make changes in the Carbondale community. Today, the CAC continues to follow in the footsteps of our illustrious founders and chapter charter members by serving the community. Our programming is aligned with five-point programmatic thrust:

• Economic Development
• Education Development
• International Awareness and
• Involvement Physical and Mental Health
• Political Awareness and Involvement

Through CAC’s programming and public service events, CAC has made an indelible mark on the Carbondale and southern Illinois community for more than 40 years. We will continue to go forward to lead, serve, and empower.

We especially welcome members in the Carbondale area to come and join us.
